Your words, burning like embers in this desolate place
in the middle of the forest, at the foot of the lake
the fairies are flying about tonight, bright shining lights
and I can hear it, that voice like pearls on a single thread

You were here, like once before
I remember the white
stallion rising above the ripples
of the water falling, stirring, shaking
eyes of fire and hooves of silver
mane of grass and wild, shaggy hair
Your words, I can feel them burning away the night
in the middle of the forest, at the foot of the lake
the fairies are flying about tonight, bright shining lights
and I can hear it, your voice calling my name so sweetly
